Bryant Austin's Whales

When I was a kid, every year a whale preservation group would come to our school and set up a life-size, inflatable, blue whale.  In small groups, they would take us inside, and we would sit in different parts as they explained how big their hearts were, or where their lungs were, or what baleen was.  I think it was the first time I really understood how big whales were.

Bryant Austin is a photographer who takes pictures of whales and then prints them life size: " ...the largest and highest resolution photographs of whales in the world."  Meaning the image above is about 3 x 6 feet large!  They look amazing and would be wonderful to see in person.
